Dofl Y. H. Yun is an interactive developer with over 11 years of development experience and he has established himself as a visionary leader in web design in South Korea, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and more recently in the USA. His recent work focuses on exploring the intersection between physical space and interaction design.
Dofl received his MA degree in Interactive Media from London College of Communication, University of the Arts London with a thesis entitled: "Ensemble - Interactive Musical Instruments." His MA thesis won the Experimental/Art category at Flashforward Film Festival 2008 San Francisco and was also shortlisted for 2008 Adobe Design Achievement Awards.
Dofl joined Unit 9, a highly acclaimed digital creative production company based in London as interactive developer in October, 2007 and he developed numerous award-winning Flash websites for high-profile companies including Philips, Samsung, Nestle, Heineken and for the famous ad campaign "Got Milk?". Since August 2009 he has been working for Firstborn. Since he's been there, Dofl has developed numerous applications for clients such as SoBe and Wrigley. Much of his focus is on technologies like computer vision and multitouch applications. In fact, he recently released a popular iPad app, DoflBall, an air hockey game that you can also play with your pet. Dofl hopes to continue to educate his coworkers with his constant influx of discovery as well as give lectures to larger audiences.
